- In Nova Scotia I attended Dalhousie University where I was later a professor in the medical School.
- In Saskatchewan I attended the University of Saskatchewan, completed my residency training in Community Medicine and worked as a specialist in Occupational Medicine for many industries and as Chief Occupational Medical Officer for the Province of Saskatchewan. I taught Occupational Medicine and clinical skills in the medical school and to nurses doing their certification in Occupational Health Nursing.

I was the first to obtain the graduate degree of Diploma in Toxicology at the University of Saskatchewan and was one of the first nine to qualify as a specialist in Occupational Medicine.
- I love practicing medicine and look forward to sharing that joy with future physicians.
I have been involved with admissions consulting / counselling for many years. I now focus on premedical admissions advising. As a premed admissions coach I strive to help pre-med students and non-traditional and/or older students to develop authentic competitive applications. Pre-medical/ undergraduate advising can start at any point in the process from undergrad course choices, advice on volunteer activities, through pre-medical advising and medical application admissions, medical school electives choice, and applications for medical residency programs. My role as a premedical admissions advisor is to help you present the best of you emphasizing what individual medical schools value.
